Are you on the look out for a diet or weight loss program which does not involve huge amounts of exercise? I am confident that most people who read this article who are a little on the large side will have answered yes to this question. Now I am not trying to mock you, I have had many problems with my own weight over the years and understand just how depressing it can be. I have now however realised what it takes to lose this excess weight and have now, at last, reached a weight at which I am comfortable and happy with.

The so called experts in the fields of diet, nutrition and fitness are likely to state that in order to lose weight people need to eat less and that they need to exercise more. I wonder how long it took them to work that one out. I could have told them that within, lets say, ten seconds. The problem is, guys and girls, that I do not like exercising. The last time that I actually ran anywhere was when I was at school twenty years ago.

I am not trying to suggest that these experts are not correct in what they are saying. What I am saying is that it is not that easy to do what they want or expect us to do.

A couple of years ago I had had enough of being fat and over-weight and decided that the time had come to do something about it.

It was time for a reality check and I had to ask myself some big questions and to then of course answer these questions honestly.

It was quite plain to see that I was over-weight mainly because I ate far too much. I love things like chocolate and crisps and I always used to snack big time in between meals.

I decided to be very brave and to be very disciplined. I wanted to lose weight and to achieve my goal I had to stop eating so much of this rubbish.

I am not saying it was easy and I am not saying it was quick, however after around a year I was successful in losing a lot of weight.
