Most individuals like to pride themselves on handling life's twists and turns and daily demands. Living in the 21st century after all, is full of opportunities and advanced technology, to allow us to reach our hopes and dreams. The human body is one of the most complex machines on the planet. It has so many capabilities and most individuals have not even discovered most of their bodys capabilities. However, the human body like any other machine or piece of technological equipment has it's limitations. Unlike most machines,the human body will give you warning signs of impending trouble. The problem is that most individuals do not recognize these important warning signs and forge ahead with their daily lives filled to capacity and stress. We all have stress in our lives, but at what point are you over loading your circuits and heading for an inevitable crash. Not all stress is bad when it motivates you to get out bed and do you daily activities. However, stress is bad when you feel tension,pressure or strain and it affects your quality of life. Chronic stress has also been identified through research studies as a probably risk factor for heart disease, insomnia, stomach disorders, arthritis, skin disorders and migraines to name a few. When you are unable to "switch off" your life stressors then you will develop physical symptoms such as, headaches, Gi disorders, chest discomfort, generalized aches and pains, neck, shoulder and back pain. Stress also suppresses your immune system which makes you more susceptible to viruses,infections and preventable illnesses. 80 percent of individuals who visit their physician is due to stress. This is why millions of dollars are wasted on expensive testing and the results are normal findings. Individuals need to take personal responsibility for their health and realize the stress in their life is affecting their health, wealth and life goals.
